For this series the stamps no’s 123, 125, 128 130-137 & LP8-16 of the Burundi Kingdom were used and overprinted with “REPUBLIQUE BURUNDI”

No 197-Cu. Overprint is smudged. It is not clear if this is a forgery that was made locally and sold. Or that it is a forgery made in Belgium, the stamp is not rare and a forgery made in Belgium is therefore not likely but also not impossible.
