Envelope made by SABENA for the “Premiere liaison reguliere par avion” (First regular connection by plane) between Leopoldville and Casablanca in Morocco, 3 December 1953

 

Maximum cards of the series 177-195 made in black & white, and in color.

The same maximum cards were used for the Ruanda-Urundi series.

Maximum card “Flowers”

This maximum card was offered for sale for 235 Franc at the World exhibition, pavilion Construction, Energy and Transportation of Belgium Congo and Ruanda-Urundi.

At the request of the buyers it would be cancelled with a special cancel.

Note 1: These were also for sale at normal Belgium post offices, and to our information most probably never sold in the Belgium Congo.
